Nigdzie w świecie nie ma regionu tak bogatego w tradycje, folklor i autentyczny, ludowy artyzm, jak nasze polskie Podhale. Zauroczeni tym faktem, postanowiliśmy chronić chociaż tę małą część bogactwa podhalańskiej kultury, jaką niewątpliwie stanowi ludowa twórczość hafciarek z okolic Makowa Podhalańskiego. W celu jej propagowania i ochrony założyliśmy w 1999 roku pracownię „makowskiego” haftu ręcznego.

You can compare no other place in the world with Polish "Podhale" where matchless and powerful tradition and folklore are still cherished and highly valued, and where authentic folk artistry is a day-to-day companion. Unsurprisingly, we have come under the spell of this culture and sacrificed to bring it to the light and make well known. We decided to focus on the embroidery works from the neighborhood of Makow Podhalanski and in 1999 we established the Makovian Manual Embroidery Workshop.

Es gibt in der Welt kein Gebiet, das so an Bräuchen, Volkskunst authentischer volkstümlicher Kunstfertigkeit reich ist, wie das polnische Gebiet von Podhale. Wir sind mit dieser Tatsache bezaubernd und beschlossen diesen kleinen Teil des Kulturreichtums von Podhale zu schätzen. Zu diesem Kulturreichtum gehört bestimmt das Volksschaffen der Stickerinnen aus Makowa von Podhale. Um dieses Schaffen zu propagieren und zu schätzen, haben wir 1999 eine Stickereiwerkstatt von „makowski“ Handstickerei gegründet.
